Our panel of professional bonsai artists will talk about techniques and strategies to transition your trees and expedite them on their bonsai journey. Some topics discussed will include achieving taper, wound-healing, sacrifice branches, and grafting techniques. Members of the audience will also have a chance to ask questions of the panel.

Our panel of professional bonsai artists will discuss pros/cons of several North American native species (with a focus on species native to the Midwest region) for bonsai. There will be several examples of native trees brought for display that were collected by members of the Bonsai Society of Greater St. Louis. Members of the audience will have a chance to ask questions of the panel.
